BIXLER - Donald B. Bixler
of 48 Mill St., Middleport,
passed away Sunday, Feb. 27,
1972 at the Medina Memorial
Hospital. He is survived by his
wife, Margaret (nee White);
two sisters, Mrs. George
(Marjor.e) Robinson of Kenm
o r e , NY., Mrs. Carl
(Dorothy) deLaval of Pittsburgh,
Pa.; and several nieces
and nephews. Friends may call
Monday evening from 7-9
Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at
the Wallace and Heath Funeral
Home Inc., Middleport, N.Y.,
where funeral services will be
held Wednesday morning at 11
o'clock, with the Rev. floyd
Finch officiating. Burial in
Corwin Cemetery, Newfane.
Memorials to the charity of

MIDDLEPORT - Donald B.
Bixler, 64, of 48 Mill St., died
Sunday in. Medina Memorial
Hospital, where he had been a
patient for two days.
He was born Oct. 17, 1907,
in Newfane, a son of Burton
ar.J Matie (Dowd) Bixler.
Mr. Bixler was employed as
an electric planner for the
Niagara Mohawk Power Corp.
for 41 years, and was a member
of the Niagara Mohawk 25
year Club.
He served in the U.S. Army
during World War II, and was
a member of Clute - Phillips
Post 938 American Legion.
Surviving are his widow,
Margaret (White) Bixler; two
sisters, Mrs. George (Marjorie)
Robinson of Kenmore, and Mrs.
Carl (Dorothy) deLaval of Pittsburgh,
Pa.; and several
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 7 to
9 p.m. tonight and from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow
at the Wallace and Health
Funeral Home Inc., 38 State St
Funeral services wiH be held
there at 11 a.m. Wednesday,
with the Rev. Floyd Finch of
the Baptist Church, Johnson
Creek, officiating. Burail will be
in Corwin Cemetery, Newfane
