Army veteran. He was an avid fisherman and bass guitar player. He proudly wore a 20-year sobriety ring. Devoted father of James J., Justin A. and Brittany L. McKinney. Grandfather of Kyle James Joseph, Dylan Michael, Ethan, and Erica. Son of Eleanor I. Cole and the late James A. McKinney II. Brother of Michelle (Jim) Hale-Shay and Albert J. (Sherry) Cole. Uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Sunday from 5-8 PM.
