ABBO-Joseph Abbo Sr.. age 69, In
Memorial Hospital, Tuesday, Feb. 1,
1966 of 3002 Welch Ave. Husband of
Josephine (Conoelosi) Abbo; father of
Mrs. Patrick (Mary) Ferrara, Buffalo,
N.Y., Dominlck Abbo, Mrs. Albert
(Angeline) Favaloro, Joseph Abbo
Jr., Mrs. Francis (Louise) Harrigan,
Mrs. Henry (Rose) Walaszek, all of
this city, Mrs. Samuel (Virginia) Ta
vano, Anaheim, Calif. Also survived
by 14 grandchildren. Funeral services
will be held from the Spallino Funeral
Home, 1300 Pine Ave., Saturday, Feb.
5, 1966. at 8:30 a.m. and Our Lady
of the Rosary Church at 9 a.m.' Interment
in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends
may call at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Resi-
tation of the Rosary at 8 p.m. Friday.

Joseph Abbo Sr., 69, of 3002
Welch. Ave., "died Tuesday
(Feb. 1, 1966) at Memorial
Hospital after a long illness,
He was a foreman at Titanium
Alloy Manufacturing Division
of National Lead Co, for 44
years before retiring in 1959.
Mr. Abbo was a member of
Local 12230, United Mine
Workers of America, and a
member of Our Lady of the
Rosary Church.
Born in Rome, Italy, he
came to the United States in
1913. In 1915 he moved to
this city after living two years
in Lyons, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife.
Mrs. Josephine (Congelosi)
Abbo; five daughters, Mrs.
Patrick (Mary) Ferrara, Buffalo,
Mrs. Samuel (Virginia)
Tavano, Anaheim, Calif.; Mrs.
Henry (Rose) Walaszek, Mrs.
Francis (Louise) Harrigan and
Mrs. Albert (Angeline) Favaloro,
all of this city; two
sons, Joseph Abbo Jr. and
Dominick Abbo, both of this
city.
Funeral services will be
held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at
the Spallino Funeral Home
and at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of
the Rosary Church. Burial
will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery
