  Tonawanda News, Saturday, April 24, 1971 ROCKWOOD - Ruth M. Rockwood, 60, Thursday (April 22, 1971) after a long illness. Born in Williamsville, N. Y., Mrs. Rockwood had resided in the Town of Wheatfield for the greater part of her life. She was employed for over 10 years at Starpoint Central School before retiring four years ago. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Lucille Pokelwaldt of North Tonawanda; a son, Wesley Rockwood of Lockport; four grandchildren and two brothers, John Beach of Tonawanda and Wesley Beach of North Tonawanda. The family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hamp Funeral Home Inc., Adam-Seymour Streets, Tonawanda, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Clifford Nauman will officiate. Burial in White Chapel Memorial Park.
