The marriage of Miss Helen
Zimmerman, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Otto Zimmerman of 212
Stenzil street, North Tonawanda,
and Gilbert Doucette, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Albert Doucette of New
Brunswick. Canada, was solomnized
Saturday. April 6 at 2 p.
m. in St. Pauls Evangelical Lutheran
church. Niagara Falls. Ontario.
The Rev. M. C. Weissback
performed the ceremony.
Attendants for the couple were
the bride's sister Mrs. Vera Konieczny
and her brother, seaman
first class Otto Zimmerman, who
was home on 30 day leave from
the Navy.
The bride chose a grey pin
striped suit with orchid accessories
and wore a corsage of roses
and sweet peas. Mrs. Kenieczny
also wore a grey suit, with aqua
accessories and a similar corsage.
Following the wedding a reception
was held in the home of the
bride's sister and attendant, 433
Wallace avenue, for the immediate
family and intimate friends.
After a short honeymoon trip Mr.
and Mrs. Doucette will make their
home in Canada.
Attending the wedding was Sgt.
Matthew Konieczny, husband of
the matron of honor, who came
from Fort Knox. Kentucky.
