Samanka, age 72, of the Town of Pendleton, March 26, 2014 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Samanka retired as a Supervisor with Smurfit-Stone Container after 40 years of service. He was the son of the late Anthony and Helen (nee Lingenfelter) Samanka. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Harrington) Samanka. Father of Guy Samanka and the late Randy Samanka; grandfather of Cierra, Gavyn, Walker and the late Baylee Samanka. Brother of John (Sandy) Samanka of Florida and the late Anthony and Alice Samanka. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
