Edward Schultz, of 4178 E, River
Rd., Grand Island, a Kenmore
policeman for 33 years, died yesterday
at his home. He was '73.
Mr. Schultz joined the KPD in
1922 and was promoted to desk
lieutenant in 1928. He retired in
1955.
Mr. Schultz was born and educated
in Buffalo. He was an exempt
member of the Kenmore
Volunteer Fire Department,
A son. Norman E. Schultz, is a
detective on the Town of Tonawanda
police force. Mr. Schultz's
wife, the former Ann L. Buchardt,
died in 1952.
Mr- Schultz also is survived by
another son, Robert J. of Buffalo;
t w o daughters, Mrs. Clarence
Cannon of Niagara Falls, and
Mrs. Walter Meadway of the
Town of Tonawanda, and a sis-
ter, Mrs. Frank Fiorella of Flori-
da.
Services will be conducted
Thursday afternoon at the Bury
Funeral Home, 3070 Delaware
Ave. The Rev. Theodore t. Leh-
man, pastor of Kenmore United
Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial is in Elmlawn Cemetery.
