- Pat J. Ruggirello, 84, of Wheatfield, passed away on December 19, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Cheektowaga, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Giuseppe ‘Paul’ and Mary (Paone) Ruggirello.
Pat honorably served in the United States Air Force as a Firefighter from 1953 until his honorable discharge in 1962. On August 12, 1967, he married Marjorie A. (Allotta) Ruggirello at Our Lady of Lebanon Church. Mrs. Ruggirello predeceased him on June 9, 2015 after 47 years of marriage. Pat was employed for 34 years as a Postal Supervisor for the United States Postal Service, working out of the Main Office in Niagara Falls, retiring in 1992. Pat enjoyed puzzles and watching football and hockey. Above all, Pat enjoyed spending time with his family - his life was centered around his daughter and grandchildren.
Pat is survived by his daughter, Gina (Andrew) Oliveri; his grandchildren, Marina and Nicholas Oliveri; his sister, Nina (William) McMahon; his companion, Carol Eaton, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
