  Niagara Gazette - 9/13/1955 Funeral services will he held Friday for Mrs. Maria Zito. .64, w h o died yesterday (Sept. 12, 1955) at her home. 1531 Pierce Ave. Mrs. Zito was horn in Italy but came to this city 42 years ago. The services will be held at 9:15 a.m. at lhe Spallino Funeral Home and at 9:45 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will he in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Surviving Mrs. Zito are her hus- band, Peter Zito; three daughters. Mrs. Caroline DeSantis, Mrs. Clyde Watkins and Miss Irene Zito, all of this city; five sons John, Anthony, Frank and Dominic Zito, all of this city, and Peter Zito Jr., Philadelphia, and a brother, Joseph Tartaglio, Brideport, Conn. Twenty-three grandchilden and a great grandchild also survive.
