Rosaire “Rosey” Vaillancourt
Beloved husband of 69 years to Virginia (nee Zobrist) Vaillancourt; devoted father of Denise (Stephen) Canzoneri, Laurie Sisson and the late Mark Vaillancourt; loving grandfather of Shaun, Nicolette and Stephen; great grandfather of Mark; brother of Nestor (late Joan), Maryleen (Gil) Martin, Roger (Claudine), Allen (Darya), late Renemay (late Ralph) Dubay, late Herven, late Vynol (late Janet), late Reno (Diane) and late Delton (Rolande); also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Rosey was one of ten children, born in VanBuren Maine to Rene and Mildred (nee Levesque) Vaillancourt. He was employed at Durez Plastics for a number of years, after which he created his own family business, Vaillancourt Home Design in North Tonawanda, which had a high reputation for quality and service.
He was a member of the Erie and Niagara Chamber of Commerce, member of Niagara County Builders Association and Commissioner of Operations at Rushford Lake also an avid gardener.
Visitation Sunday February 26, 2023 from 3 to 7 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Dr. North Tonawanda. Funeral Services will be held Monday February 27, 2023, at 11 AM from St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 61 Payne Ave in North Tonawanda.
