- Marie (Felice) Zuccari, 75, of Bergholz, entered into rest surrounded by her family on September 22, 2017 after a long illness. The daughter of the late Marion (Riggi) and Joseph Felice, she was the beloved wife of Ronald Zuccari, devoted mother of Rosanna (Douglas) Monteleone, Elizabeth (Samuel) Buck and Felicia (Dale) Kelsch, and grandmother to Ryan and Angelo Monteleone, Isabella Buck and Julia Kelsch. She is also survived by her sister, Rosemarie (Paul) Livingston, and brother, Martin Felice, and many relatives, nieces and nephews.
Marie attended schools in Niagara Falls, and graduated from LaSalle Senior High School. For the early portion of her life she worked for her family at Felice’s Restaurant. She then studied nursing and worked at Harry F. Abate School as a school nurse for their Head Start Program.
Marie and her husband decided to raise their family in Bergholtz nearby the Zuccari Dairy Farm. Adding to the many Zuccari families who live on or near the farm. The majority of their 50 year marriage was spent happily raising 3 daughters, multiple animals, and running the dairy portion of the Zuccari Farm. Marie took great pride in her home, and in her special ability to medically tend to both people and animals alike.
Marie took a special interest in making family and friends feel welcome. She loved celebrating holidays and Sunday dinners. Her traditions, love of socializing, and cooking can definitely be seen in her three daughters. Marie enjoyed taking care of her family and she was known to be sympathetic, kind and friendly, never missing an opportunity to lend a hand or an ear to her many friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 3-7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls.
