Marilyn J. Seger
Marilyn J. Seger passed away January 2, 2008 in Inter-Community Memorial Hospital, Newfane. Born May 14, 1934 in North Tonawanda, she was the daughter of the late Gehardi and Clara (Dexhiemer) Zuch. Marilyn was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clarence Center, where she taught Sunday School and served as the Superintendent of Sunday School. She enjoyed being with her family, playing the piano and traveling with her husband. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Samuel E. Seger of Barker; mother of Samuel (Sandra) Seger, Jr. of Lockport, Sandra (Thomas) Gancasz of Barker and Susan (Craig) Oswald of Churchville; grandmother of Thomas Gancasz, Jr., Laura Sue Seger, Bonnie (Baes) Gancasz, Carrie Gancasz, Samuel Seger, Amanda Seger, Kristen Oswald, Katie Oswald and Kevin Oswald; great-grandmother of Nicolas Baes, Hayley Baes and Landon Simpson. Relatives and friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 PM in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clarence Center. Interment will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials to the church would be appreciated by the family.
