  Niagara Gazette - 7/30/1940 TONAWANDA-Action was taken yesterday by the counsel for Mrs. Martha A. Briggs, 241 Main street, before the surrogate's court in Buffalo, to have the woman appointed administratrix of the estate of her late husband. Philip F. Briggs, 51, who was fatally injured July 16 when part qf a load of baled paper rolled off a truck on him while he was working in Delaware street. Mrs. Briggs Is taking steps to bring action to recover damages for the death of her husband. Owner of the truck from which the baled paper was spilled is Joseph Fingold, 150 Bennett street, Buffalo
