  May 11, 2013 Enid M. Zuhr The Tonawanda News CITY OF TONAWANDA — Enid M. (nee Jukes) Zuhr, age 95, of the City of Tonawanda, Friday, May 10, 2013 at Beechwood Nursing Facility. A lifelong resident of Tonawanda, she was the wife of Kenneth L. Zuhr who died in 1973; and was the sister of the late Betty Miller and Myra Hobler. Enid was a 1936 graduate of Tonawanda High School and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She had been employed by Durez Plastics in North Tonawanda for 25 years, retiring in 1980. She is survived by three children, Kenneth (Carol) Zuhr of North Tonawanda, Margaret "Peg" (Ralph) Wisniewski and Elaine (Donald) Kramer of Tonawanda; seven grandchildren, Kristen, Jennifer (James), Amy, Kathryn, Janet, Christopher and Elizabeth; four great-grandchildren, Marissa, Megan, Emma and Alfred; and was the aunt of Robert, Linda (Jon) and the late Karen. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday only from 11 AM until 1:00 PM at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda, where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday following the visitation. The Rev. Andrew Abraham will officiate. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions may be made to the Erie County SPCA, 205 Ensminger Rd., Tonawanda, NY 14150.
