  Niagara Gazette - 6/30/1939 NORTH TONAWANDA. June 30 Rites will be held tomorrow afternnoon for George H Pletcher, 78. who died Wednesday night, at his home, 94 Tremont street. The serv- ices will be held at the late residence at 3 oclock and will be con- ducted by the Rev Harold F. Hewitt. of the First Presbyterian church. Interment will be in Elmlawn. Mr. Pletcher was well known. For many years he was employed by the Erie railroad in various capacities, In recent years he was engaged as a flagman at the Goundry street crossing Mr. Pletcher was born in Lewiston For the last 56 years he resided in the Tonawanda. He leaves three sons. Clarence, of Niagara Falls and Harold B and Willard R of North Tonawanda: five grandchildren five great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Jesse Barrett, of Jamestown.
