  Niagara Gazette - 7/3/1933 JOHNSON CREEK, July 3.-Carl Rhodehouse, 36, of Buffalo, a native and former well known resident Johnson Creek, was drowned late Sun day afternoon while swimming in Lake Rushnorth near Canandaigua. He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Rhodehouse, of Johnson Creek two brothers, Ralph, of Lockport, and Roland, of Johnson Creek, one sister Mrs. Kenneth Robinson, of Gasport. It Is reported that Mr. Rhodehouse had just entered the water when he was taken with cramps and sank. His brother, Augustin Rhodehouse, was drowned seven years ago while swim- mlng In Lackawanna.. Funeral services will be held Wed nesday afternoon at his home, Niagara Falls boulevard, Buffalo,' with inter- ment at Hartland Central cemetey.
