  Notes	North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 10/6/1946 Ten YEARS AGO The marriage of Miss Genevieve M. Rech, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Rech of 459 Niagara street to Glenwood J. Demmin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Demmin of Kohler street, was solemnized yesterday afternoon at 4.30 o'clock in the Grace Methodist Episcopal church, the Rev. Arthur C. Rehme performing the ceremony. Miss Virginia Warner acted as bridesmaid and Mr. Charles Rech, brother of the bride, was best man. Following the ceremony a reception for sixty guests was given at the home of the bride's parents, which was beautifully decorated throughout with colorful autumn flowers. The buffet table which was centered with a large wedding cake had tall white tapers at either end. Mr. and Mrs. Demmin left last night for a trip to Washington, D. C. and will be at home after Oc- tober 11 in 449 Niagara street.

  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 2/14/1978 -Glenwood Demmin, 65, of 682 Fletcher St., was pronounced dead on arrival at DeGraff Memorial Hospital Monday, after he was found lying on the floor of the bathroom in his home. An autopsy is being performed today. Firefighters responded to a first aid call at the home. Authorities said Mr. Demmin had been ill. ALSO North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 2/14/1978 DEMMIN - Glenwood J. Demmin, 65, of Tonawanda Monday (February 13, 1978). Mr. Demmin was a member of Tonawanda United Methodist Church, a lifelong resident of Tonawanda and was a pharmacist for the Eli Lilly Co. Husband of the late Genevieve Demmin who died in November of 1977, Mr. Demmin is survived by three sons, Peter (Ruth) Demmin of Williamsville, Joseph (Sharon) Demmin of Tonawanda and Timothy (Alice) Demmin of Randolph Township, N.J.; his mother, Mrs. Lorena Demmin of Tonawanda and four grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Wattengel Funeral Home, Inc., 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda where services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Eldon D. Snyder officiating. Burial Elmlawn Cemetery.
