Funeral services were held
Aug. 11 in St. Paul's Lutheran
Church, Eden for Louis J. Benzin
of Pine St., a former Eden
resident who collapsed and died
Aug. 8 while transacting business
in the Hamburg office of the Liberty
National Bank. He was 63.
The Rev. Clyde Hahn, church
pastor, officiated with burial in
St. John's Cemetery. Mr. Benzin
was a real estate salesman for
Pierce and Cash here.
The husband, of the late Ethel
Koske, he leaves two sons, Eric
L. of Eden and Russell L. Benzin
of Hamburg; three grandchildren,
and a brother, Louis C. Benzin
of Wales, N. Y.
Arrangements were by the
David C. Laing Funeral Home.
