Raymond E. Rech, a well-known
resident of the Tonawandas, died
at his home, 282 Wheatfield street,
yesterday afternoon after a long
illness. He was born in Tonawanda
and had lived in the Twin
Cities all his life. For many years
he was engaged in the grocery and
meat business on Oliver street.
He was a member of many fraternal
organizations in the Tonawandas
and Buffalo. He was also
connected with the North Tonawanda
fire department for a number
of years. His lodge affiliations
included membership in Sutherland
lodge, 826, F. & A. M.; Tonawanda
Chapter, R. A. M.; Tonawanda
Commandery, K. T.; Ismail
a Temple, Buffalo; the local
Shrine club, Electric City lodge I. O. O. F.; Enterprise Encampment,
I. O. O. F.; North Tonawanda
Lodge, No. 860, B. P. O. E,; the
Columbia Hook and Ladder com-
pony and the North Tonawanda
Firemen's Benevolent association.
Surviving are a wife, Hallie W.,
and three daughters, Mrs. Ruth
Lane, Sardinia, and the Misses
Lois and Lida Rech, North Tonawanda.
The funeral will be held Saturday
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from
the residence, the Rev. ???
E. Rostofer of the North Tona-
wanda Church of christ officiating.
Interment will be in Elmlawn.
The funeral will be ??
of Sutherland lodge. Tonawanda
Commandery will act as bearers.
