George J. Reichert, a native of
North Tonawanda and a resident of
818 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls,
died last night in Memorial hospital,
that city.
He was bom here 47 years ago,
but went to Niagara Falls in his
early childhood to live. Educated
in the public schools of that city
he entered the employ of the
Niagara Falls Gazette. Later he
became an employe of the Niagara
Falls Electric Light & Power
company. At the time of his death
he was district manager of the
Buffalo Niagara Electric corporation.
Mr. Reichert was a member of
the Niagara Club, the Niagara Falls
Country club and St. Stephen's
Episcopal church.
Surviving are his wife, who was
Julia Whitney, and whom he married
in October, 1913; two sons,
Edward and John and a daughter,
Helen Louise, and his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. C. F. M. Reichert,
686 Chilton avenue, Niagara Falls.
Mr. C. F. M. Reichert was formerly
a North Tonawanda meat
dealer.
