George was a skilled Cabinet Maker, he had worked for Roblin Steel, International Paper, and St. Amelia R. C. Church. He was the husband of the late Norma (Reinbolt) Shaffer. Beloved father of Cynthia (Paul) Pirog and Brian (Josephine) Shaffer. Grandfather of Brittany Shaffer. Brother of Nora (late Edward) Poy, Lois (late John) Lingenfelter, Gail Shaffer, and the late Richard Shaffer and the late Roy Cattau. Uncle of several nieces and nephews.
