DRIESS - William S. September 16, 2011, age 87, of North Tonawanda, after a brief illness, husband of Barbara (nee Dehlinger) Driess; father of Mark (Donna) Driess, Kathleen (Mark) Loveland and Elizabeth (Michael) Diliberto; brother of Scott Driess and Rita Sliwa; also survived by seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 3-7 PM on Sunday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, INC., 37 Adam St. at Seymour, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM Monday at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Oliver & Center Ave., North Tonawanda. Friends invited. If desired, memorials to Riverwood Nursing Home are preferred. Mr. Driess was a decorated Army veteran of WWII who served in The Battle of the Bulge and received The Purple Heart.
