  Niagara Gazette - 4/8/1940 LOCKPORT, April 8-Funeral services for Arza P. Alvord, 77, who died at his home at Jeddo Saturday, will be held tomorrow afternoon at the family home, with interment in Hartland Central cemetery. The Rev. C. W. Hemmlng- Way, of the Hartland Baptist church, will officiate. Mr. Alvord was a lifelong resident of Jeddo and was active ln farming up to a few years ago, when he retired because of ill health. He Is survived by his wife. Mrs. Carrie Wright Alvord. And two daughters. Mrs. Claude Shepard, of the Mill road, and Mrs. Henry Pettis, of Kenmore
