Trost. a retired purchasing agent for the former Continental Can Co. plant in Tonawanda and its precedessor. the Robert Gair boxboard plant, died yesterday at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A native Tonawandan. Mr. Trost was employed by Continental Can and Robert Gair for 40 years prior to his retirement in 1959 A World War I veteran, he was a member of Tonawandas Post 264. American Legion; the 25-year Club of the Continental Can Co.; Salem United Church of Christ, and the National Purchasing Agents Association He is survived by his wife. Emma Ullrich Trost. and a sister. Mrs Charles Holler of Venice. Fla Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the John O Roth Funeral Home. Morgan and William Streets. Tona wanda Burial will be in Kirn lawn Cemetery memorial sen ice will be conducted at 7 pm tomorrow at the Itinera] home by Post 264. American Legion.
