Moira was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on July 17, 1940. She died July 12, 2020 after a short illness.
Moira was employed for many years at the IRS, employment that she enjoyed for 20 years. She instilled in her children a love for the Catholic faith, a strong work ethic and her belief of everything in moderation except kindness. Moira attended and graduated from the former Sacred Heart School and graduated from the former Saint Mary's High School, where she was President of her senior class. She was also the President of the ZTI Sorority. In her youth she worked at Bees Bakery and the Nabisco Shredded Wheat factory. She will be missed by all who knew her, especially her four daughters who realized early on in life how blessed they were to have such an amazing mom.
She was predeceased by her parents, Catherine and John; and her brother, John. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Gulla of Lake Grove, NY, Theresa (Carlo Cuttitta) of Massapequa, NY, Eileen (Don Flynn) of Oakdale, NY, and Maureen (Sean Hunter) of Mt. Pocono, PA. Also survived by her grandchildren, Patrick, Thomas, and Brian Flynn, Francesca and John Carlo Cuttitta, and Declan Hunter. Also survived by her brothers, Brian of Eden, NY, Dennis of Niagara Falls, NY, and Rev. Patrick of Bronx, NY.
