- Marjorie Reiter Obituary
Of the Town of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Friday December 13, 2024, at her home under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on May 2, 1929, a daughter of the late Wilfred and Grace [Wakeman] Schulze.
Mrs. Reiter was a graduate of LaSalle High School and Alfred University, with a BS in Nursing.
She was a registered nurse with the Niagara County Health Department and at the former Ransomville Hospital for many years.
Mrs. Reiter was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston for over 70 years and a member of the Lewiston Senior Center where she enjoyed the exercise classes.
She enjoyed traveling and wintering in Treasure Island, Florida.
One of her favorite activities was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially watching them play on multiply sports teams
Mrs. Reiter was the wife of 56 years to the late Herbert C. Reiter, who passed away in 2009.
She is survived by her children, Steven Lee Reiter, Gretchen(Gerald) Napier and Braden (Gwendoline) Reiter, her grandchildren Cory (Andrew Larson) Reiter, Kyle (Kaitlynne) Reiter, Briana (Jamus) Jegier, Jay Skurski and Andrew Reiter, also seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her beloved cats Princess and Grady.
Mrs. Reiter was the sister of the late Jean (John) Mitchell.
A celebration of her life will be held in the spring of 2025.
Memorials may be made in her name to the Niagara Hospice or First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston.
