LeRoy E. Winn, 59, of 8701 Point Ave., a charter
member and past president of the LaSalle, Sportsmen's
Club, died Wednesday (Dec. 25,1963) at Memorial Hospital,
a few hours after being admitted.
A na-tive of Niagara Falls,
Mr. Winn Operated McFarlane's
Clothing Store, a business
founded by his father-inlaw,
at 1811 Pine Ave. Prior to
this, he was a welder at the
Union Carbide Corp.
A v e t e r a n riverman, Mr.
Winn was a fisherman and
hunter, holding a keen interest
in good sportsmanship.
He was treasurer of the LaSalle
Sportsmen's Club for
the last 16 years.
In addition to his activities
with the LaSalle Sportsmen's
Club, he was a member of the
P i n e Avenue Business and
Profesional Men's Association;
a past master of Niagara
Falls Lodge 1049, F&AM; Buffalo
Consistory No. 32, F&AM,
and the Ancient Accepted
Scottish Rite, F&AM.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Anna Mae W i n n, and two
brothers, Garnet D. and W.
Earl Winn, all of this city.
Funeral services will be
held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the
Otto Redanz Funeral Home with
Rev. A l a n J. Perrine,
minister of Riverside Presby-
terian Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Riverdale
Cemetery.
Member of the Niagara Falls
Lodge 1049 will conduct me-
morial services at the funeral
home at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
