On Wednesday evening Miaa Jennie Irene
Dennison and Mr. George Lee Peard were
united in marriage at tbe resldense of the
bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Dennison,
In Pembroke. The ceremony was performed
by Rev. T. L. Waldo. Tbe bride was arrayed
ia blue silk and carried white roaes. The maid
of honor was Miss Winnie Mott, of Pembroke,
and the beat man, Harry Peard, of
Batavia. The presents were many and the
supper bountiful. The happy couple will reside
in East Pembroke.

George Peard died at his home,
No. 29 Holland avenue, at 12:45
o'clock this morning following a long
illness. Surviving Mr. Peard are his
wife, Mrs. Jennie Peard; a daughter,
Isabelle, who teaches a t . Poughkeepsie;
a son, John Peard at home; three
brothers. Supervisor Harry R. Peard
of No. 15.Union street, Joseph Peard
of the town of Batavia and Robert K.
Peard of East Pembroke; and four
sisters, Mrs. Millard Allen of Bushville,
Mrs. H a r r y Well of Buffalo, Mrs.
F r a n k Funke of the town of Batavia,
and Mrs. James Lorraine, of New
York.
Funeral services for Mr. Peard will
be held at his late home Saturday afternoon.
Interment will be in the
East Pembroke cemetery.
