LEWISTON - Mrs. Bernice
M, Piper, 43, of 130 First St.,
died Wednesday (April 5, 1967)
in Mount St. Mary's. Hospital,
where she had been a patient
for five days.
Mrs. Piper was formerly a
nurses' aide in Ransomville
General Hospital and a school
bus driver in Ransomville. She
had been employed as a waitress
in the Lewiston* Restaurant
for the last year.
A native of Watkins Glen,
Mrs. Piper had lived in Lewiston
for 26 years.
Survivors include her husband,
Leonard Piper; two
daughters, Mrs. Joseph Koch
of Lewiston and Mrs. Mabel
Snavely of Tonawanda; a son,
Leonard R. Piper, at home;
four sisters, Mrs. Muriel West
and Mrs. Jean Wolrath, both
of Millport, N.Y., Mrs, Helen
Barrett, of Watkins Glen, and
Mrs. Betty Ann Rogers,of Elmira;
and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted
at 2 p.m. Friday at St.
Paul's Episcopal-Church, Lewiston,
by the Rev. William
Staton.
Burial will be In Memorial
Park Cemetery,
Friends may call at the Hardison
Funeral Home, Lewiston,
from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
