A very pretty wedding took
place at the St. Francis church on
Saturday, Oct. 14, at 11 a.m., when
Miss Pearl Beyer, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Walter H. Beyer, be-
came the bride of Mr. Jacob Kolb,
Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob
Kolb of Kohler street.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, wore a
whtie satin gown made on
princess lines with a lace jacket.
Her long white lace veil was made
in a cap effect with a beaded de-
sign and caught at the sides with
clusters of orange blossoms. She
carried a shower bouquet of bridal
roses and baby breath.
Miss winifred Penalien, the
maid of honor, wore an American
beauty color satin gown made on
the princess lines with a turban
and slippers of matching shade.
She carried a bouquet of talisman
roses and baby breath. Miss Eliz-
abeth Karnacker assisted as
flower girl. She was attired in
white and carried a large basket
of fall flowers.
Miss Betty Kolb carried the
bride's veil. She wore white.
Anthony Kolb, nephew of the
groom, acted as best man.
The ushers were James Beyer
of Sanborn, brother of the bride,
and Henry Allen of North Tona-
wanda.
A reception followed at the
bride's home in Sanborn. Places
were laid for sixteen at the bride's
table which was adorned with
a large pyramid wedding cake,
on which hung a huge white
wedding ???. Green china was
used on the tables. the house
was decorated in green and white
and lovely garden flowers..
Mr. and Mrs. Kolb have just re-
turned from a motor trip through
the Adironack mountains.
