Charles was a U.S. Army veteran and had retired from the New York State Dept. of Mental Health. He loved hunting, fishing, and cooking. Beloved husband of Cynthia (Krull) Battalgia. Dear brother of Annette (Ross) Mancuso, Barbara Christopher, and the late Sarah DiVincenco and the late Murphy Battalgia. Brother-in-law of Viola Battalgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and stepchildren.
Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Wednesday from 2:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 A.M., the Rev. Keith Knupp will officiate, interment in Acacia Park Cemetery.
