Charles D. "Chuck" Held, age 94 of Wilson, died February 16, 2021. He was the son of the late Edgar and Ada Schaeffer Held.
He was a veteran of WW II and a retiree of the Coated Abrasives Division of the Carborundum Company in Wheatfield.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Shirley Rohring Held. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Stephenson Held; two sons, Donald (Elizabeth) and Ronald (Jayne); seven grandsons, Jason (Jennifer), Joshua (Heather), Christian (Stephanie), Justin, Adam (Christine), Jacob (Michaela) and Jarred (Taryn); ten great-grandchildren Jaylin, Harlie, Logan, Dallas, Hunter, Jackson, Jessa, Griffin, Jameson and Aurora; and five Stephenson step-sons, Mitchell (Terry), Mark (Rhonda), Matt (Cheri), Mike (Laurie), Marty (Cathy). Also survived by several nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria, NY.
