T Percy Morris, 75, formerly of
this city, died yesterday (Sept 2,
1955) in Ransomville General Hospital
after three years of poor
health.
Born in England, Mr. Morris had
resided in this city from 1905 until
three years ago when he moved
to Wilson to live with his daughter,
Mrs. Levell L. Rohring.
He had been employed by the
former Braas Bros. Building Contractors
for many, years before retiring
in 1947 as a foreman of millwrights
at the Shredded Wheat Co.
He was a. member of St James
Methodist Church, Niagara River
Lodge No. 785 F&AM, Bellevue
Lodge No. 316, IOOF, and Modern
Woodmen of the World.
Mr. Morris is survived by another
daughter, Mrs. Lionel M.
Priddle, Lewiston; two sisters, Mrs.
Beatrice Matteson, this city, and
Mrs. Rosetta Benedict, Buffalo; a
brother, Gulius Morris, Fargo, N.
D.; six grandchildren, and nine
great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Bell
Funeral Chapel after 3 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral services will be conducted
at the chapel Tuesday at
1:30 pjn. by the Rev. Chester C
Beebe. Burial will be in Oakwood
Cemetery.
