  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 5/8/1901 Jacob Rumbold, aged 79 years, died yesterday afternoon of bronchitis at his home on Robinson street. The deceased was one of the Tonawandas, oldest and most respected citizens, having being a resident here for the past 51 years. Mrs. Barbara Rumbold, his wife; three daughters Mrs. Ernstlng, Mrs Joseph Hyland and Mrs. John Stackhouse, and t w o sons John and Walter survive. The notice of the funeral which will take place on Friday will be given tomorrow.
