MISS CHRISTINE ANN RUSS beeame-the--
bride of Michael David Cavanaugh in a double
ring wedding Saturday (July 1,1972) at Prince of
Peace Church. The_Rev Claude Corrado of Our
Lady of Fatima Shrine, officiated at the 11 a.m.
ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo
Paul Russ, 1067 99th St., and the bridegroom is
the son of "Mr. and Mrs. John P. Cavanaugh, 1812
Main St.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride
wore a gown of silk organza fashioned with high
neckline, fitted bodice and A-line skirt, trimmed
with Venise lace. She wore a matching laceedged
cathedral length veil and carried a
cascade of phalaeonopsis orchids and ivy on a
white satin prayer book.
MISS MARGARET RUSS was maid of honor.
for her sister. She wore a Victorian gown with
Venise lace bodice and pink chiffon skirt, a
Camelot headpiece with shoulder length veil and
carried a colonial bouquet of white carnations
and pink roses.
Miss Patricia Russ, sister of the bride; Miss
Karen Rizzo; Mrs. Gordon Bedford; and* Mrs.
Peter Ingram were bridesmaids. Their gowns
matched that of the maid of honor.
Gary Server was best man. James Russ and
Timothy Russ, brothers of the bride; Peter
Ingram; and Steven Reiman were ushers.
An. afternoon reception was held at Frontier
Fire Hall.
After a wedding trip through Canada, the
newlyweds will make their home in this city.
