Rob R. McKenzie, 66, of Ransomville, NY, went home to be with his Savior on Monday, January 17, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Rob was the first son of the late A. Donald and Virginia (Wendt) McKenzie; and the beloved husband to Carolyn (Kreps) McKenzie who he married on July 6, 1974.
Rob lived in Niagara Falls for the majority of his life and attended local schools. He proudly served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1978. Rob was employed at Tam Ceramics Inc. for 22 years as the Occupational and Safety Health Supervisor, and also spent 6 years working at Air Sep Corp prior to his retirement.
Rob was a faithful member of The Bridge Assembly of God, where he had served as a board member and as a Sunday school teacher for many years. One of his greatest joys was sharing his faith and love of Christ with other believers and non-believers a like.
In addition to his loving wife, Carolyn, Rob is survived by his children, Amber McKenzie and Nathan (Angela) McKenzie; and two beautiful grandchildren, Victoria and Rob Roy, that were the apples of his eyes. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary (Brian) Dumont and Craig (Diane) McKenzie, and a host of in laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 21 from 11 – 1 P.M. at The Bridge Assembly of God, 9750 Niagara Falls Blvd. Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M with Military honors to conclude. Interment will follow in Oakland Rural Cemetery. Memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice or the Gospel Rescue Mission. Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
