  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 8/20/1954 NEWFANE, Aug. 20 - Josephine H. Sahr, Dale Rd., died yesterday at Buffalo following an illness of several months. Mrs. Sahr was born at Lockport, a daughter of the late Mary O'- Hara and Robert Wallace. She was a member of Ridgewood Lutheran Church and the Newfane American Legion Auxiliary. Besides her husband, George G. Sahr, she is survived by one son and two daughters, Robert E. Bates, Newfane; Mrs. Harry Whalen, Lockport and Miss Marie Sahr, Buffalo; eight grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, William and Earl Wallace and Mrs. Webster Billings, all of Lockport. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the home and at 2:30 at the Ridgewood Lutheran Church with the Rev. Edward Kolbe, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery, Lockport
