NEWFANE - Frank L.
Seelow, 92, of the Newfane
Nursing Home, formerly of
Ridgeway, died Sunday (May
28, 1972) at the Inter-
Community Memorial Hospital
at Newfane, where he had been
a patient for one.day.
A native of Newfane, he was
born June 4, 1879 the son of
Lewis and Minnie Haygen
Seelow. He had been a selfemployed
painter and
paperhanger in the Newfane
area until his retirement many
years ago.
Husband of the late Gertrude
Sahr Seelow, he is survived by
a son, Donald D. Seelow of
Lockport; two daughters, Mrs.
Detrick (Esther) Gruntz of St.
Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs.
Elsie Benteau of Lancaster,
Calif., and several grandchildren,
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at their
convenience at the Kenneth M.
Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139
East Ave., where services will
be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
The Rev. Lee Miller of the
First English Lutheran
Church, Lockport, will officiate.
Burial will be inWrights
Corners Cemetery.
