  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 11/5/1962 NEWFANE - Mrs. Lena M. Baldwin, 79, widow of Lewis Baldwin, died unexpectedly in her home, 2448 Transit Road, Sunday (Nov. 4, 1962). Mrs. Baldwin was born Oct. 12, 1883, the daughter of Fred and Minnie Neverman Kolbow. She had lived in Newfane for the past 42 years where for many years she did papertianging. She and her late husband were married in Wilson July 4, 1904. Mr. Baldwin died Nov. 1, 1947. Surviving are a son, Leon R. Baldwin of Frostproof, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. George Kreeger of Newfane; seven grandchildren and twelve great ° grandchildren. Friends may call today and tomorrow at trie Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Ave., where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Richard Closson, pastor of the Newfane Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Corwin Cemetery.
