P. Thurm Saturday
(Aug. 19, 1961).
Rev. E.J. Rienier officiated
at the double-ring ceremony
uniting the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs" Clarence
E. Broeker, Lockport Street,
and the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Edmund A- Thurm, Locust
Street, North Tonawadna.

GIVEN IN marriage by
her father, the bride wore
a gown of rosepoint lace
and net over taffeta with a
portrait neckline, long tapered
sleeves and fitted bodice.
The net skirt continued
to a chapel train.
An orange blossom crown
secured her three-tier scalloped
illusion veil and she
carried a white prayer-book
topped with a white orchid.
MRS. CALVIN C BROEKER,
sister-in-law of the
bride, was matron of honor
gowned in pink silk organza
with a headpiece of silk
petals with pearlized bjuds
and a colonial bouquet of
pink carnations and lilies of
the valley.
Edmund A. Thurm Jr. was
his brother's best man.
Ushers were Calvin Broeker,
the bride's brother, and
David Sandel.

AN AFTERNOON reception
was held at the Three
F Club, Lewiston.
The mother of the bride1
received; guests wearing a
green lace sheath with a
green organza hat and a
white rose corsage.
The bridegroom's mother
selected a sheath of yellow
chiffon with a brown velvet
hat and a corsage of yellow
roses.
When Mr. and Mrs. Thurm
return from a wedding trip
to New England they will
reside in North Tonawanda.
