White gladioli decorated St.
Mark's Episcopal Church at 4 p.m.
Saturday, Oct 2, when Miss M.
Yvonne Boerschig, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. William J. Boerschig
of Baxter St., became the bride of
Ronald F. Hoover, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas M. Hoover of Tacoma
Ave. The Rev. Richard B.
Townsend officiated at the ceremony.
The bride wore a gown of white
tulle and rosepoint lace over
white satin. She carried a fan
shaped bouquet of white roses
with a shower of rosebuds.
Miss Elaine J. Boerschig, maid
of honor, wore a scarlet gown of
embroidered taffeta. She carried
a fan shaped bouquet of white
roses. Bridesmaids, Mrs. Robert
Boerschig, Miss Antoinette Granata
and Miss Anna May Bermel,
were dressed similarly in rose,
gold and blue. They carried bouquets
of yellow roses.
Robert L. Hoover was his
brother's best man. Ushers were
Robert Boerschig. Dale Boerschig
and Duane M. Fans. The reception
was held at the Crescent
Hall, E. Utica and Verplanck. The
mother of the bride chose a rose
cocktail dress of Florentine lace
and nylon tulle. She wore navy
blue accessories. The bridegroom's
mother favored a Dior
blue waltz length dress with navy
accessories.
For traveling to Miami Beach,
the bride chose a grey gabardine
suit with red accessories and a
white orchid corsage.
