Thorpe (nee Schumacher), age 68, of Olean, formerly of North Tonawanda, December 17, 2013 in Oakwood Nursing Home, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Donald Thorpe. Beloved mother of Roxanne Hinman, Dawn (Charles) Stover, Peggy Hammer and Howard Thorpe. Grandmother of 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Sister of Thomas (Catherine) Schumacher; aunt of several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
