  Utica NY Daily Press - 6/13/1932 llion. June 13-Raymond E. Slocum. 53. died early this morning at his home. 152 South Third Avenue. following an Illness of over two years. He was born in Ilion November 7, 1878 and for over 10 years was employed as a machinist at the Remingftm Typewriter Works. He was the son of the late Ar- thur and Sarah Slocum. He is survived by his wife, the former Ellen Blaney; a daughter, Beatrice; three brothers, Arleigh, Albert and Arthur, Ilion, and on e sister, Mrs. Thelma Hilton, Roch- ester. Funeral services will be held from the home Wednesday at 2:00 Rev. L. R. Benon officiating and interment will be in the Armory Hill Cemetery.
