- Charles A. Stahl, of Akron passed away on November 5, 2016. He was born on October 26, 1935 in the town of Royalton to the Late Fred and Viola (Meitz) Stahl. Charles lived his whole life in Wolcottsville. He worked as a milk hauler for Stahl Brothers and was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was one of the founding members of the Wolcottsville Sportsman's Club and a lifetime member in both the North American Hunt Club and the NRA. His wife, Cynthia (Moyer) Stahl; his sons, Daniel (Judy) Stahl of West Falls, James (Melinda) Stahl of West Shelby, Gregory (Kelly) Stahl of Greenville, PA, Matthew (Pamela) Stahl of Lockport; and a daughter, Kathy Stahl of Lockport survive him. Other surviving children include Steven Gothard, Amy Gothard, Karen Gothard, Sheila (Paul) Harrell, Kathleen Bowen, Jason Peters and Kyra Hogg; thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a brother, Arnold (Janet) Stahl; a sister, Norma Rehwaldt, Aunt Helen Martin; and sister-in-law, Shirley Stahl, along with numerous nieces and nephews also survive him. A brother, Robert Stahl; and sister, Jean Danielwicz predecease Charles. Friends and relatives may call from 4-8 PM on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC, 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron. A funeral service will take place on Friday, November 11th at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6369 Wolcottsville Rd., Wolcottsville. Charitable donations may be made in Charles' memory to Wolcottsville Sportsmans Club, 5406 Salt Road, Middleport 14105 and Trinity Lutheran Church.
