- Robert E. "Rob" Wade, Jr., 49, of Lewiston, NY, peacefully passed from this
life from complications with surgery, while surrounded by his loving family.
Born on January 21, 1967 in Lewiston, NY, he was the son of Robert E. Wade,
Sr. of the Town of Niagara and the late Donna Jeanne (Boyd) Wade. On May
14, 1994, he married the former Karen L. Woika.
In addition to his father and wife of over twenty-two years, Rob leaves
behind his children, Jason, Amber and Alexis Wade; one grandchild, Jordynn
Wade; two sisters, Joyce E. (Tony) Rotella and Theresa A. Wade;
sister-in-laws, Sue (Jack) Braham and Bernadette Ford; his furry daughter,
Sasha and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces,
great-nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his mother, Rob was
predeceased by his brother, Richard L. "Rick" Wade.
Rob graduated from LaSalle High School in 1985 and also attended Niagara
County Community College. For over 27 years, he was employed as a
Mechanical Assembler for Edwards Vacuum, where he worked until his passing.
Rob was an avid Washington Redskins fan and bowler. In 2005, he bowled a
perfect game (300).
Visitation will be on Friday, June 3rd from 4-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO
REDANZ FUNERAL HOME in the Town of Niagara, where a funeral service will
follow visitation at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that
memorial offerings be made in Rob's name to the American Heart Association.
