Corp., Frank Ives, 70, of 231
Niagara St., died Thursday
(Sept. 24, 1959) in Lockport Memorial
Hospital.
Mr. Ives had been in ill
health a month. He was born
June 28, 1889, in Grand Island,
the son of Charles and Anna
Plack Ives.
Mr. Ives, a pattern maker at
Harrison for 34 years, retired
six years ago. He was a member
of Aerie No. 825, Fraternal
Order of Eagles.
Survivors include his wife,
the former Edna Brayton; a
daughter, Mrs. Robert Whalen,
Stratford, Pa.; a stepson, Raymond
S. Shaver, Lockport; five
stepdaughters, Mrs. Roy Stahl,
Pendleton; Mrs. Curtis Fraser,
Mrs. Melvin Stavel and Mrs.
C. F. Reimers, all of South
Wales, and Mrs. Donald Slocum,
of F r a n k l i n v i l l e ; a
brother, Roy Ives, Lockport;
13 grandchildren and 11 great
grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:30
p.m. Sunday at the Joseph M.
Kennedy Funeral Home. The
Rev. Stephen E. Palmer of the
First Presbyterian Church will
officiate. Burial will be in
Corwin Cemetery, Newfane.
