NEWFANE. Oct, 24. — Mrs. Lillie
J. Stratton, wife of the late Robert
Stratton, died at the home of her
son. Nell, Saturday night at the age
of 61 years. Mrs. Stratton is survived
by two sons. Neil, of Newfane,
and Carl, of Detroit. Mich, one
grandchild, Charles Herbert Stratton
of Newfane, one sister, Mrs. Lennle
Newell, and two brothers, Glenn
and Ray Corwin, all of Newfane,
Mrs. Stratton had resided in Newfane
the greater part of her life but
had also lived in Lockport and Buffalo.
In Lockport she was a member
of the Order of Eastern Star and
Rebekahs and of the White Shrine
in Buffalo and the Kensington M.
E. church of Buffalo.
Funeral services will be held from
the home of the son on Tuesday at
2:30 p. m. The Rev. A. P. Goodwin
of the Newfane Baptist church will
officiate. Interment will be In Cold
Spring cemetery, Lockport.
