Wilson, Dec. 3.-Julius W. Hoyt,
one of Wilson's best known and most
highly esteemed citizens passed away
at his home in Pettlt street, last Wednesday
nigh, following four weeks ill-
ness. Deceased was 67 y e a r s of age
and was born in Walton, Delaware
county. He lived in aHnibal (sic) and several
other towns near Oswego, a good
share of his life, and came to Wilson
14 years ago. Here he has conducted
a jewelry store and has served seve
r a l years as a town justice of the
peace. He has formed a ,wide circle of
friends who will deeply regret hls
death.
Mr. Hoyt Is survived by his wife
a n d t w o daughters, Mrs. Merritt Swick
of tho Town Line road and Miss Ivdna
Hoyt at home. The funeral service
will be conducted at the family
home, tomorrow afternoon, by the
Kev. W. ,T. Pasko, pastor of t h e local
Baptist church, and the Rev. Pet-
er Birrell of Knowlesville, formerly of
this place. Interment will be in
Greenwood cemetery.
