Mr. Samuel P. Abiusi, age 64, of 20
Schuyler St, died Thursday, October
1M9W at bis residence.
He was born in
Utica, July 31,1920,
a son of the late
Rocco and Louisa
(Vivenzo) Abiusi.
He was raised and
educated in Utica,
attending local
schools. Mr. Abiusi
was a WW n Army
Veteran. On November
25,1945, be was
married to the former
Lotti Stawiass. For many'years, be
was a self-employed contractor, having
worked in the Utica area for over 25
years. He was a member of St Joseph
and St Patrick Church and the United
Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners
Local No. 120.
He is survived by his wife, Lotti; one
daughter, Miss Louise Abiusi of Utica;
two sons and daughters-in-law, Philip
and Shirley Abiusi of Verona, N.Y., Andrew
and Bridget Abiusi of Utica; five
grandchild-en, Derrik, Amy, Jennifer,
Heather and Tiffany Abiusi; three sisters,
Mrs. Dorothy Basi of Clearwater,
FL, Mrs. Grace Marchitelli, Utica and
Mrs. Samuel (Josephine) Spina of
Utica; one brother and sister-in-law,
James and Josephine Abiusi, Utica.
Also surviving are several nieces and
nephews.
The funeral will be held on Saturday
at 8 am. from The Eannace Funeral
Home, Inc., 932 South St. corner of
Hammond Ave., and at 8:45 a.m. at St.
Joseph and St Patrick Church, where a
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.
Interment will take place in Calvary
Cemetery. Visitation will be today
from 2-4 and 7-9.
