LEWISTON — Norma L. McCombs, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012, in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, NY. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on February 17, 1926, the daughter of the late Earl and Effie (Dolittle) Wellsby. Mrs. McCombs was an golfer and bowler.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard L. McCombs; one son, Michael J. (Mary Ann) Ryan of Ransomville, NY; two daughters, Karen M. (Thomas) LoStracco of Youngstown, NY and JoAnne (David) Perkins of North Ridge CA; three grandchildren, Melissa (Andy) Stangroom, Thomas LoStracco, MD and Austin Perkins; two great-grandchildren, Brooke and Andrew Stangroom. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. McCombs was the mother of the late Patricia Anne Penque; sister of the late Earl "Terry" and June Wellsby.
